About Grounded & Calm

Sharon Paquette

Sharon Paquette (she/her/they) founded Grounded & Calm (previously, Mindful Meditations) in 2021. She is a certified mindfulness teacher, having attended 2-years in training with Jack Kornfield, Ph.D, and Tara Brach’s, Ph.D, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through the Awareness Training Institute, and the University of California at Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center. As part of this 2-year program, Sharon completed a 6-month DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Accountability) Training. Sharon has 10 years of mindfulness meditation practice experience, including 10-day silent retreat sits, 20+ years experience as an educator with a current Ontario College of Teachers teaching license (OCT #469564) in good standing.

Her mission is to help you ground and calm through life’s many changes. She is here to help you explore mindful awareness of the breath, body, mind and heart utilizing a science-based curriculum in a playful, inclusive, and supportive space.
